I.
Services
Our primary
service is to provide scheduled visits to the owner's home
to care for their pets and provide home services. Dogs are
scheduled from 2-4 times per day and cats or other pets are
scheduled 1-3 times per day. The minimum that Petfully Yours
(hereafter referred to as "Company") will allow for cats is
every other day (with Veterinary approval). We are in the
business for the best interests of your pets, so we spend
our time with them. If asked to performs other tasks than
standard light duties there will be an additional charge for
time involved.
The
Lucky Pet Visit is our standard pet sitting visit that
averages 30 minutes of care for your pets. We include up to
a 4-pet household under this standard visit rate (maximum
3 dogs). Additional pets can be included for a fee. For example,
you could have 4 cats or up to 3 dogs and one cat for the
same fee. During that time we are at the service of your pets...whether
it is playing laser-tag with your cats or taking your dogs
for a long walk. Our main concern is for the well-being and
socialization of your pets and this is the recommended visit
for the majority of households. We can extend the amount of
time spent for an additional fee.
- We
do not commit to exact visit times due to sitter routing
and potential unforeseen circumstances. We will keep your
pets on as consistent of a schedule as possible. Once a
day visits are kept on a 24-hour schedule. Twice a day visits
are every twelve hours. Three time a day visits provide
a maximum overnight span of 11 hours. Four times a day visits
provide a maximum overnight span of 10 hours.
- We
charge for ALL pets if they are under our care for more
than twenty-four hours.
Afternoon
Dog Walking is scheduled in the middle of the owner's
workday Monday through Friday. Our discounted walks are scheduled
between 11am and 2pm. We establish a discounted monthly account
with weekly frequency of 2 or more walks.
The Overnight
Service allows for a sitter to be in your home for a minimum
of twelve hours overnight. The schedule is flexible according
to the pet sitter's other obligations. A lunch time walk or
exact schedule daytime visit can be scheduled for an additional
fee if your pet(s) need it.
II.
Fees
Refer
to the RATES for our current
service fees.
We
have a Holiday Surcharge of 50% of the day's fees on
the following major holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, Independence
Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thurs-Fri), Christmas (24th-25th)
and New Year's Day.
We have
a Ready-Key Program for clients who wish to keep their
keys on file for current and future services and/or emergencies.
The client provides two copies of their access key with a
$5 enrollment. One copy is kept secure with the sitter and
the other is secure in the home office. This service allows
the company to provide service with 48 hours notice. Less
than 48 hours notice is subject to the Late Reservation Fee.
You must contact the company in writing to request to be withdrawn
from the Program and have your keys returned. Key arrangements
are to be made at the initial meeting. There will be a trip
fee of $10 for key pick up or drop off after the initial meeting.
Late
Reservation Fee of $10 is assessed with less than a 5
day notice (unless currently enrolled in the Ready-Key Program).
If you
run out of supplies and it is necessary for us to go shopping
you will be responsible for the cost of supplies, mileage
according to IRS guidelines and time involved ($24 per hour
rate billed in 1/4 hour increments).
If your
pet needs transportation for emergency purposes you will be
responsible for mileage and time involved in addition to any
fees for services rendered.
III.
Reservations
Reservations
are made either by internet request/email or by phoning to
the home office. If you have not received confirmation of
your reservation either by email or by phone within 24 hours
(Monday through Friday) please resubmit. Pet Sitters are not
responsible for booking your reservations.
Ready
Key clients must book their service with a 2 business day
notice. All other clients must give a 5 business day notice.
Holiday
Reservations during Thanksgiving (Nov 20-30) and Christmas/New
Years (Dec 15th-Jan 5th) must be booked in advance and the
company requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit received no later
than the last business day one week prior to Thanksgiving
Day or Christmas Day (7 day minimum).
IV.
Cancellations
Cancellations
with less than a 2 business day notice forfeit the first 24
hours of service fees (that includes early arrival home unless
office is notified with 2 business day notice).
Afternoon
dog walking cancellations (on account) for any particular
day must be received by the office by 9:00 am in order to
receive credit.
Holiday
cancellations after the deadline forfeit the 50% deposit.
V.
Payment Policy
New
clients are expected to pay full fees by check or credit card
at their initial meeting with the Pet Sitter. Current clients
have the option of mailing in their payment to be received
by the office before their trip or signing up for our automatic
payment program with a credit card/bank card. Monthly dog
walking accounts are to be paid on the first of each month
by automatic payment.
In certain
cases a client might need to leave unexpectedly for an emergency
and not have time to make payment arrangements. Payment is
due in the office within 5 business days of the conclusion
of services. If invoices need to be mailed at that time there
will be a $20 billing fee per month.
VI.
Miscellaneous
- We
will make every effort to perform agreed upon services,
however, we recommend that a neighbor has a key to your
home in the event of inclement weather/natural disaster.
- We
can use a garage door opener but would prefer a key be made
available in the case of a power outage.
- If
your pets are on hidden fences we recommend you check the
function of your fence and your batteries before leaving
town.
- All
pets must be current on their vaccinations. Petfully Yours
retains the option to request vaccination certification
at any time.
- We
try to keep you with your regular sitter. In case of schedule
conflict/sitter vacations/personal emergencies/illness trust
that Petfully Yours will provide you with a fully qualified
substitute.
- The
office does not give out Pet Sitter phone numbers under
any circumstances. Sitters are not responsible for any reservations
or messages. You must contact the office directly at 636-405-0400
and place your reservation or reserve through our online
service AND receive confirmation or there is no guarantee
that the reservation has been placed. Please follow this
policy for your pet's behalf and the privacy of your sitter.
- Any
tips go directly to your sitter. Please exclude tips from
the payment for services.
